CARDIFF CITY 2-1 CREWE ALEXANDRA

Earnshaw has now scored nine goals this season, and is well ahead in City's top goalscorers chart.
Match Report:
The signs are looking very good for Cardiff City at the moment, clear at the top of the Division two table and the prospect of a new ground in the not too distant future.
These things were both confirmed yesterday when a fairly dour game came to life with two goals from Earnie in the last 10 minutes. What will ever happen if he gets injured I dread to think! The "deal" for the new ground was signed at half time by the great and the not so good of Cardiff politics, let's hope this goes through smoothly!
Back on the pich some good performances notably by Rhys Weston and Mr Earnshaw. Crewe were happy to sit back on their well taken lead, but once Cardiff got back on level terms there was only ever going to be one winner!
Peter Thorne again failed to deliver his goal scoring record is now in the Gary Birtles / Diego Forlan category. Only thankful that he's paid a high salary not linked to goals. Meanwhile Earnie is taking his pay home in wheelbarrow loads!
Another crowd of 13,000 plus but where are all the missing 1,000's who watched us play Wrexham, Stoke and Leeds last season - bring your armchairs back - it's good fun at the moment!
