Cardiff City have been told it would be a terrific gesture if they rested Danny Gabbidon on Saturday. Wales face Italy just 4 days after Cardiff's tie with Wycombe on the Saturday.

Cardiff City have been told it would be a "terrific gester" if they rested Gabbidon on Saturday ahead of Wales' Qualifing tie with Italy.

The Bluebirds face Wycombe on the Saturday which is just 4 days before Wales face Italy at the Millennium Stadium.

Gabbidon looks a certain starter for the game as Robert Page is still suffering with an ankle injury.

Gabbi has been ever present in the league this season for City - and has only missed the Worthington Cup tie with Boston United.
