Leekes - "the out of town department store" are the new shirt sponsors of Cardiff City. The deal which is said to be worth a six figure sum will see the Bluebirds wearing the Leekes logo on both their home and away kits until the end of the current season.

A deal has been agreed until the end of the current season and is reported to be worth a six figure sum. The Leekes name will appear on both the home and away strips - and possibly an FAW Premier Cup kit if one is released.

After the collapse of the sponsorship deal with Ken Thorne World of Cars - the money will come in useful for the Bluebirds.

Cardiff will run out against Wycombe this Saturday in the new strip and they are expected to be available in the club shop in 4 to 8 weeks.

A special trade is expected to be in place for people who purchased the old shirt with Ken Thorne written on the front.
