Cardiff City's home game against Chesterfield has been moved to a Sunday. The fixture change is due to the likelihood of international call-ups.

Cardiff City's home game against Chesterfield has been moved to a Sunday.

The fixture was initially planned to take place on the Friday, November 22nd, but the Bluebirds have requested for the game to be re-arranged.

This is due to the likelihood of a number of the City squad being involved in Wales'European Championship qualifying match in Azerbaijan on the previous Wednesday.

Both parties seem pleased with the change. Chesterfield are now likely to sell more tickets for the fixture as it will be easier for away fans to travel down on the Saturday.

The game is now taking place on the Sunday, November 24th - and will kick off at 3pm.
