The Bluebirds travel to Griffin Park tomorrow looking for a win to cap off three consecutive away trips. With Steve Jenkins and Rhys Weston both missing through injury, out-of-favour, Spencer Prior is likely to be back in the starting XI. Here's a look forward to tomorrow's game with the Bees.

Match Preview

Brentford vs Cardiff City
Tuesday 4th February, 7.pm
Nationwide Football League Division Two

Cardiff will be desperate to get three points at Griffin Park tomorrow to keep the pressure on Crewe in Second place.

Victory for the Bluebirds tomorrow could see them returning to the top two places depending on the outcome of Crewe's home fixture against Wycombe Wanderers.

Lawrence will be forced to make changes from the side which drew 1-1 with Stockport County on Saturday. Steve Jenkins and Rhys Weston are both likely to be missing through injury meaning Lawrence will have to shuffle his defensive pack. Spencer Prior is expected to return at centre-back, with Gary Croft moving to the right and Chris Barker moving back to left back.

After being taken off with a facial injury at Edgely Park, Gavin Gordon is also a doubt for the fixture which is a major set-back for City's strike force, with Leo Fortune-West and Andy Campbell both out with long-term injuries.

The Bees currently sit 12th in the Division Two table, 9 points off the Playoff zone with a game in hand. They will be desperate for 3 points to keep their fading playoff hopes alive.

The last meeting between the two clubs was at Ninian Park in September. Robert Earnshaw and Andy Legg were on target as the Bluebirds put in one of their best displays all season to move up to 4th place.

Unfortunately, the form book is against City tomorrow. The Bluebirds haven't won at Griffin Park since 1993 when a Phil Stant brace put Cardiff well on their way to a 3-1 F.A Cup Second Round victory.

Bluebird to the Bone Prediction:
Brentford 0- 2 Cardiff City

City to cap off three consecutive away games with a comfortable win over struggling Brentford.

Hopefully Wycombe can do City a favour by getting something at Gresty Road to give the Bluebirds a chance of returning to the automatic promotion places.
