Kenny Lunt had given the home side the lead in the first half from the penalty spot, but former Bluebird, and Cardiff City fan Christian Roberts equalised in the second 45 to send the 1,500 travelling Brizzle supporters home quite happy. The draw has all but ended Bristol City's automatic promotion hopes, as they remain 5 points behind Crewe in fourth position with just 4 games of the campaign to go. Cardiff travel to London Road to face Peterborough United tomorrow in their game in hand over their two biggest automatic promotion challengers. Victory for the Bluebirds at Peterborough will take them back into the top two automatic places, which will be a huge morale boost for the team as the season reaches it's climax. Still - the second automatic slot is still in both Crewe and Cardiff City's hands. If they win all of their remaining games they will get promotion.
