| The Cardiff City Youth side have been
drawn at home to Notts County in the first round of the greatly admired F.A
Youth Cup. The well respected Cup, currently held by Manchester United, is seen as one of the best competitions for young players, as it gives them chance to play against clubs of much higher and lower abilities which helps greatly in player development. Youth football is usually not usually high on the agenda of football supporters, but the F.A Youth Cup is an exciting spectacle. A mammoth 22,000 turned up at Old Trafford for the second leg of the final last season, with the game also being shown live on Sky television. The game is taking place on Tuesday 2nd December at Ninian Park, with a 7.00pm kick-off. Admission starts at £4 for adults, and £2 for Under-16's. |
