Pullis Plea for No Crowd Trouble
Stoke City boss Tony Pullis returns to homeland tomorrow as his Stoke City side take on Cardiff City at Ninian Park, and Pullis had issued a plea to both sets of supporters to not cause trouble.

Stoke will only be bringing approximately 500 travelling supporters tomorrow, mainly due to the strict regulations on getting tickets. Fans also have to travel on arranged club coaches which go directly to Ninian Park, a method that has been used by Cardiff City in recent years to avoid any crowd trouble at certain matches.

Recent fixtures between the two sides have been marred by violence, and there will undoubtedly be a large police presence in and around the ground tomorrow, hoping the game goes on without any agro between rival fans.

"There is nothing better than a passionate atmosphere between two sets of fans inside a stadium," said Stoke's Welsh-born boss.

"But for goodness sake please keep that passion and commitment confined to the stadium and the match. The last thing we want is trouble outside the game.

"I've been watching the rugby World Cup and the fans there are committed to their countries like you'd never believe. But afterwards, they can forget all that and have a drink together. That, surely, is how it should be."
