Cardiff City are offering free admission to any travelling Wimbledon fans who attend Saturday's First Division clash. The club has struggled to amount any sort of away following this season, and the club has decided that free entry for visiting fans could be the best policy for both clubs.

Cardiff City are offering Wimbledon supporters making the trip to Ninian Park for Saturday's First Division encounter free entry to the Grangend away fans section.

The club has suffered with attracting fans to games since their controversial move from Selhurst Park to the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes, and away followings have been very, very low from the club previously owned by Lebanese businessman Sam Hammam.

The struggling side will finish the campaign bottom of the First Division table despite the outcome of their final two matches, with the Dons having only picked up 25 points from their 44 league games so far. However, they have shown improvements since their relegation was confirmed so City could face a tough game.

To try and attract something of an away following, Cardiff City are offering free entry to the away end. However, to stop home fans gaining entry to the away end, supporters will be asked to bring documentation to prove they are from South London or Milton Keynes and are also encouraged to wear club colours.

The game is City's last home match of the season, and a below-par crowd is expected, so the club offering reduced prices to home fans for the game is something I wouldn't rule out either.
