Cardiff City’s 23-year-old winger Paul Parry will miss the Bluebirds’ final league game of the season against Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday.

The former Hereford United midfielder was taken off on a stretcher during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Wimbledon, and there were fears on the terraces that the Welsh international could have broken his ankle. However, the injury is only extensive bruising and Parry will aim to return for Wales’ upcoming friendlies against Norway and Canada, should he be selected by Mark Hughes.

"Paul will miss the game at Ipswich, but there is no long-term damage.” said Lennie Lawrence, following Parry’s visit to the Ninian Park physiotherapist.
