Ninian Park is set for a further face-lift, with the roof of the Bob Bank having a new lick of paint. Long gone are the days of weathered Captain Morgan Rum logos, with Brace's Bread securing sponsorship of the roof for the 2004/2005 season.
Long gone are the days of Captain Morgan Rum, as the roof of the Bob Bank is set for another re-painting over the summer. Since the arrival of Sam Hammam to Ninian Park, the old fading logo of the classic spirit drink was painted away and replaced with the rather uninspiring image of the Hyper Value logo. However, for the 2004/2005 season the sponsorship of the famous roof will be taken over by Brace's Bread.
Brace's Bread, one of Britain's largest family-run bakeries, have sponsored the centre of excellent initiative for the past two seasons and fans have enjoyed the thrill of youngsters being presented with monthly awards by the company at half-time of senior team games. Their logo will now be visible from the top of the Bob Bank roof, with painting already well on the way to completion.
"The roof of the Bob Bank is a real focal point at Ninian Park and we’re delighted that it’s our logo that fans will see as they cheer on the team." said a spokesman for Brace's Bread.
