Cardiff City travel to Brighton...

Thankfully the international mid season break is well behind us, Wales are back to winning ways and the Bluebirds need to continue on their recent improved run. The home defeat by Luton seems a distant memory, can we win at the Withdean?

Cardiff have never won at the Championship's smallest ground, and with Brighton finding points hard to come by Saturday's trip to East Sussex would be an ideal time to put things straight!

Wales have bounced back and football is back in favour no that the cricket season is well and truly behind us. The Championship is proving to be a tight division and Cardiff are not far off a playoff place...

So we visit the pretty dreadful ground that Brighton currently reside at. The Withdean is little more than a football pitch in the middle of an athletics track, playing at Leckwith would be more palatial!

The Seagulls do however sell out every week, although surviving on 6,000 crowds is proving difficult and their efforts to get a bigger ground are well documented. Whilst we wish them every success in this regard. we'll be hoping to continue our improved away form with three points.

Following the Brighton trip we entertain Preston North End and then Crew Alex in successive home games before the "everyone gets in cheap" Carling Cup tie v. Leicester City.
