Where you'll be Going?

Fir Park

Fir Park holds around 14,000 and is an all seater stadium. The ground is dominated by a large stand at one end of the ground. This stand the Motorola (South) Stand, is almost twice the height of the other stands. The stand is two tiered, with a row of executive boxes running across the middle of it. The other end, the Davie Cooper Stand, is a small covered seated stand. The Main Stand at one side of the pitch, is a fair sized single tiered stand, which is both raised above pitch level and set back from it. Opposite is the smaller East Stand, which has a number of supporting pillars. Away fans are housed in the Motorola Stand at one end of the pitch. Normally only the lower tier is opened for away fans, but if demand requires it, then the upper tier can be opened also. Up to 5,000 fans can be accommodated in the two tiers. The view of the playing action from this stand is pretty good, as well as the facilities.

Where to Drink?

"The Jack Daniels Bar" is the closest to the ground and is recommended by many supporters, and has a very friendly atmosphere.

One to Watch:

19 year old, James McFadden is a young midfielder with bags of potential. McFadden is expected to really hit the big time this season.
