Cardiff City winger, Josh Low, has joined Division Two rivals, Oldham Athletic on trial. The out of form player has been subject to much criticism with Cardiff fans, and looks likely to leave Ninian Park soon.

City winger, Josh Low has joined Oldham Athletic on trial.

The 23 year-old had a disappointing season with the Bluebirds last year, and was given a lot of stick by the Cardiff crowd. Low seemed to lose a lot of confidence towards the end of last season, and perhaps a move away from Ninian Park will benefit his career.

Low had a fantastic season during the Bluebirds 2000/2001 Promotion Campaign, showing fantastic pace, but couldn't quite handle the step up.

Low will spend the next 7 days at Boundary Park, before Oldham manager, Iain Dowie decided if he will bring Low to the club permanently.

Josh Low signed for Cardiff in November 1999, he had previously played for both Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient.

Best of luck to Josh on his Trial.
