Cardiff City round off their pre-season tomorrow as they face Premiership opposition, Bolton Wanderers. After two defeats in a row, Lennie Lawrene will have a lot to think about.
Cardiff City round off their pre-season tomorrow as they face Premiership, Bolton Wanderers. The Bluebirds have lost their last two friendlies, so will be looking for a change of fortune as Sam Allardyce's Bolton visit Ninian Park.
Tomorrow's game is expected to be the Bluebirds' toughest challenge yet, although Woles and Motherwell are both very good sides, and even though this game is only a friendly Cardiff will have to work hard to get anything out of the game. Bolton are expected to field a strong side.
Bolton's new signings, Jay-Jay Okocha and Delroy Facey are expected to play.
Both these players were snapped up by Allardyce on free transfers, both are very good players, and Bolton fans have a strong belief they can make a top half finish this season.
Okacha has made a big impact on the international scene of late, and is definetly one to watch tomorrow.
Bolton got their pre-season off to a flyer, beating Italian side, Bromio 13-0. They also put in a decent performance against Italian giants, Inter Milan but ended up losing 1-0.
Bolton's last game was against Division One opposition, Burnely and finished 1-1.
Lennie Lawrence is expected to field his strongest line-up tomorrow, but will be without Jason Bowen and Mark Bonner who are both suffering from injury.
Lawrence is expected to start with the 4-3-3 formation, although he recently voiced concerns over Robert Earnshaw and Andy Campbell's partnership up front.
A crowd of around 9,000 is expected tomorrow, and they'll all be hoping that the weather is better than Wednesday nights game!
