Cardiff crumble to the old biscuitmen...

Cardiff City conceded another five goals to champions Reading to take their total to ten for the season in only two games against Steve Coppell's team. Apart from a brief twenty minute spell in the second half it was a horror show from the Bluebirds who were outclassed in all departments..
Coming back from 3-0 down to 3-2, Cardiff City then conceded two late goals to finally kill off any lingering hopes of a late burst for the play offs. This game summed up how far apart the two teams were and it was a personal horror show for Darren Purse who had a nightmare game.
The crowd was just over 11,500 swelled by a noisy 2,000 from down the M4. As a spectacle it was much better entertainment than recent home games but the result finally ended the Welsh teams season, there is only pride to play for now.
