Hodgy turns his attention towards local lads

Darlo boss David Hodgson has revealed that he is predominantly after local lads for next season. He didn't rule out the possibily of some over-seas signings, however.

DAVID HODGSON has today revealed to the Northern Echo that he is looking to bring in some local talent for next season.

The passionate manager is said to be looking to re-kindle the spirit of the squad which reached the old 3rd Division Play-Off final in 2000, of which most of the players came from the North-East.

Hodgson has not ruled out possible signings from further a field, however.
