This has been discussed elsewhere. That is what i thought, but its 7 wins, 6 wins,m 5 wins 4 wins.

It's an attempt to prevent a situation like last year where the bottom team didn't win any games and were not relegated..

Winner of each group plays at home (or I believe they can choose to play away, if they wish?).

Whatever you do, do it safely!

Perhaps it might have been an idea (good-bad?) to have played the semi-final AND the final on the SAME DAY at Twickenham. That way the strongest club would come through (us) and there'd be a good crowd as well and it would all be out of the way in one day.

Definitely bad, very, very, very, very, very, very, bad. Completely barking in fact. Even worse than the idea of the play-offs in the first place. That bad.

With the physicality involved in rugby these days, where it may take some players a couple of days just to be able to walk properly after a game, playing two games on the same day is simply not practicable.

Even if it were, why should the RFU trouser all the gate receipts for those three games?

Whatever you do, do it safely!

How is the choice of home and away for the two legs of the final decided?

Presumably the option to play the away leg first would be regarded as very valuable - is it on regular season league position or on pool position?

Just seems a little unfair if solely dependent on results from Pool stage playing a different group of teams - but when did unfair/silly/barmy rule out any options in RFUWorld?

Bristol chose last time out as they had the most points in the SECOND stage.

If this is tied presumably it is on countback.

Is it possible to update these tables as there doesn't seem to be a complete table with all 3 groups anywhere?

Looking at Group C,
Plymouth cannot now be overtaken by Bristol and so are safe from relegation, meaning that the rest of their season is simply to turn up for three dead rubbers.

Pirates appear to have lost 2 games - literally!

Played 4 Won 2 Drawn 0 Lost 0

Who stole the missing 2 games???

Deja vu? I've seen it all before
