The club's longest-serving player's current contract is set to expire.
But, following promotion back to the Premiership, coach Richard Hill revealed at their end-of-season do on Friday night that Fortey will stay.
Fortey, 35, signed from his home town club Gloucester in 1975, is one of only a handful of players to have played over 200 Premiership games.

It also says that he's "the club's longest-serving player" which no disrespect to him at all...but he isn't as I believe Gillies is!

I have you guys down as losing a young scrum half called Louis Silver to bristol is that not up because it was just a rumour/he's just an academy player/it's been missed?
