Season Preview - The Back Row

So it’s the middle of the off season and the rugby chat has petered out so what is next? Looking forward to next season that’s what.
I am really hopeful for next season, we saw some improvement of our attacking game towards the end of last season manifesting in more tries! Here’s hoping we add greater defensive prowess and get it all working together.
I can’t make up my mind who, out of the new players, I am looking forward to seeing play the most. Given I have a penchant for back rowers, we have a few new ones to choose from, Matt Cox on his return to Sixways after his sojourn down the M5 along with Andries Pretorius and GJ van Velze we seem to have added some quality to an already useful group of back rowers in Jonathan Thomas, Sam Betty, Rich De Carpentier, Leonardo Senatore and the versatile Mike Williams.
Not sure I envy Dean Ryan picking from that lot! But a good problem to have.
Really will miss Jake Abbott, it seems a shame there is no place for him at a club he has put his body on the line for time after time game after game. Good luck Jake in what comes next for you.
