Strange one that he was a standout player when playing
maybe his contract is secure and they are letting others fight it out/
Imagine Batley and Hill together at lock!!!

I don’t know so much if we have Batley/Hill starters backed up with Kitchener A&G and Clegg that is pretty good
With Vailanu, Lewis and Kvesic at 6, 7 and 8 that is not bad at all.

Why are we spending 400k a year on a winger that won't get the ball. We really needed to improve our front 5 as its the worst in the league currently. Pretty poor squad management in my opinion.

The whole side is poor. It’s from top to bottom and for me it starts with coaching and leadership. How much more time does JT need to show he has the faintest idea.
60 minutes in and we’re being nilled by the side above us in the table who look better in every single facet of the game.

I think team selection was the issue. Why start with GK and TH in the row when Batley and Clegg are our most physical, should have started with Sharkey, Annett and Waller and had Kev, Hill and Lewis in the back row. The changes killed us.

Felt positive after Tigers but this is diabolical. We've made Falcons look like Chiefs!
Falcons players having more rest than ours has helped them for sure we've not helped ourselves.
All soft tries imho.
We need to beat Glaws next week.If it goes ahead.

Yet another really poor display (with the exception of Ted), as was entirely predictable. And this time against a team second bottom in the league who lost by 70 odd points last week (with different players, I know). Don't know why I bother setting aside 2 hours of the Saturday afternoons at the moment 😂

At least we didn't give up! It's one thing we never do but tbf, personally it was great skill by Radwan but it shouldn't have happened.
Soft tries again by us.We fought well in the end to get two tries but we typically butchered chances.
IMHO Falcons having more rest made a difference but it can't be an excuse.
Missed Batley. The front row replacements should've been on from the start.
C'mon lads let's beat Glaws if it goes ahead.

A little disrespectful to Falcons here - won more games then Irish, should have beat Bristol among others and competing well against others. Last week putting out a 3/4 team to target Worcester helped but don’t forget the strength we have in the back row too. Ted Hill looked ok for you guys, but feel sorry for starting front row - imagine your confidence after being subbed that early?

Stop telling it as it is or JT will be getting his hanky out and blaming you horrible supporters.
It wasn’t until GJ came on and showed some bottle that we started to fight back.
We are unfit, weak, incredibly badly coached, no cohesion. Pretty damn pathetic to be honest.
I have renewed but already starting to regret the decision because the vast majority of that will be here next season - apart from our best players
Hougaard
Weir
Schonert
Can Veltz
Taking off the whole front row after 24 minutes was utter stupidity starting with selection and what does it tell the players about the coaches confidence in them.
Worst day in the Premiership ever and even the commentators felt sorry for us
JT, you ain’t cutting the mustard.
IMHO!!!

Didn't mean to be disrespectful, just that this was a game I was hoping Warriors would target too and show up in for once. For me, having Dean Richards is the difference between the two teams over a season: neither club have loads of top quality international superstars but one has a clear direction and top quality management and coaching which gets the best out of them and the other doesn't. Newcastle in good shape imo

Assuming Nick is actually leaving I just don’t see how it’s possible for us to beat anyone next season. I was pretty happy with JTs appointment but his recruitment has been absolutely shocking. It’s so obvious where we are (very) weak, and yet we are loosing our best scrummager and replacing him with a championship long shot and a couple of second/third choice props at their current clubs. And of course spent 400k on a winger who will be on international duty for half the season then playing behind a mullered pack when he is available. It’s a complete joke. I’m hanging all my hopes on us having written this season off weeks ago and two starting props joining us before the new season, otherwise we will once again be a completely pointless member of the prem.

I still find it utterly remarkable that JT and AS’s jobs are safe. This is the worst ever Worcester side. The owners must surely see that.
People slag off the critics on this forum but personally I think us Worcester supporters have the patience of bloody saints. The fact so many supporters are still onboard with the current coaching regime is astonishing in my view. This continual shambles simply wouldn’t be tolerated at other clubs.

Fair play to dean richards, he did his homework.
Venter nullified, and Lawrence marshalled well for most of the game.
Radwan was clearly looking to exploit humphreys, as he kept swapping wings to attack against him.
We know the issues with the pack, but our back row were also out played today. Dodd had zero impact, unsure how batley or bressler can’t get in the team? Or start clegg and keep hill at 6. Really poor selection, along with weir who looked well off the pace.
We also need to work on that god awful line out peel which see’s annett pummelled every time and a solid 3m loss of ground.
Best case we offer the spare cash to sharky to renew his contract, can’t see anyone agreeing to join this team right now.

Deano....a coach who knows what he is doing.
I don’t think JT is the right choice for us. I know the coaching merry go round has been an issue for us but at what point do we change something that clearly isn’t working.
I’ve never led a team at work where I’ve had exactly everyone I’ve wanted, but you knuckle down, find an approach that works with what you have and move forward.
I’ve never seen us look this consistently poor. Today’s Falcons side had no stars but was a well drilled set of pros. They aren’t operating on a bigger budget than us or with a bigger supporter base. We shouldn’t look as worefully inferior as we did.
I think we need to get in an experienced DOR that can get the best out of what we have and build some discipline.

I assume that the team selection was JT's as was the starting XV at Bath. That is a concern.
20 of the 23 squad will be with us next season. The three leaving are Hougaard, Weir and G V-V hardly poor players.
How dees this all change? It wont be down to just having a good pre-season !
Battles are won on the map table, Falcons had worked out that Venter was a threat and really targetted him, also that Humphreys was a weak link and did likewsie. What was our plan?

Firstly I thought Falcons were really good. Radwan was superb, that finish was something else.
Secondly they were much bigger in the pack. And far more physical in defence. I never understand why we don't kick through blitzing defences - just make them check.
We need some size in the front 5. I don't subscribe to the Ted and Batley in the second row theory, it would depower us further still.
Wilson, Chick and welch were awesome today.
Too many games this season we have looked really good when the game was long gone. We need to be able to play well when the game is structured.
We have a terrible maul, a struggling maul defence and I fear for our scrum if our fears are realised and Sharkey goes.
As for subbing the whole front row - Jay has been with us for 10 mins, would you not want to see how he packs down beside Niall and Ethan?

Humphreys has always been very very average. Vulnerable in defence as seen today and always seems to be incredibly slow despite his reputation being the complete opposite.

If you want some depressing Sunday morning reading then take a look at the Newcastle forum. The comments are all bang on and basically all allude to how terrible we are; we even get a ‘bless them’.
Quite a few comments say that they hope we have a big summer of transfer signings ahead. If only they knew we are pretty much done on the signing front…
As I said, a depressing read of fans of a club who are hardly much good. They talk of us as if we are National 1 standard.

Win or lose, Saturday can’t come quick enough for the season to be over. If we are pretty much done regarding signings, then that is incredibly depressing. I would say the backs for next year are OK but the forwards (apart from the back row & hookers) are god awful. May as well not turn up as you can’t win a game of rugby without a solid front five.
