Please read for details of the WWSC Super Challenge this June. WWSC is aiming to raise £10,000 for St. Richard's Hospice and this is the BIG event for this Summer.

WWSC Super Challenge

 In Aid of St.Richards Hospice 

 

            Part 1: Team Rowing Challenge - From Sixways to Twickenham

 

 

Can your team row 20,000 metres in 100 minutes? Cannons will set up 2 rowing machines in the Crowngate shopping precinct and we will row from Sixways to Twickenham via - Gloucester - Bristol - Bath - Swindon Marine - London Irish - Twickenham.  Helping us along the way we have Richard Woods the lone Atlantic Rower, the GB ladies Dragonboat Racing Team, the world record holders for 100,000 metres from Cannons, who will do the final leg into Twickenham.  To be completed in 12 hours

Part 2: The Walking Challenge - Alvechurch to Sixways

 

 

 

The second of the challenges, phew! A leisurely stroll by the side of the canal from Alvechurch boatyard back into Sixways, about 15 miles.

There is a halfway point at a celebrated watering hole where you can rest and enjoy the ambience.  Transport from Sixways to the Start Point.  BBQ & bar back at Sixways when it is all over.
