Phil Bolland who picked up a foot injury in the pre season friendly against League Of Wales outfit Bangor City will re-start training with the rest of his team mates within the next seven days.
The ex Oxford United centre back has made a rapid recovery since his foot injury last month. The 6 foot plus defender was told by the specialist that he wont be needing a scan and may resume training within the week.
The Chester defence has not missed Bolland so far with 4 clean sheets out of 4 conference games but manager Mark Wright stated ”Phil is our best defender at the club”. It is unclear who will make way for Bolland in the back 3.
It is likely that Phil Bolland will be in the squad to face Leigh Railway Mechanics Institute on Friday.
Meanwhile their is more competition for places in the squad with Mark Beesley trying to regain his place in the starting line-up after losing out to Ryan Sugden.
