Halifax Town saved from Liquidation

We are all delighted to hear the news that Halifax Town's future is safe after proposals by a group of 10 local businessmen were accepted by creditors.

The newly relegated side are currently in administration but are soon set to come out and will compete in the new conference season.

Halifax's chief executive Tony Kniveton expressed his feelings to the club's website. "This is excellent news for Halifax Town following weeks of uncertainty and hard work," "I and everyone else connected with the club can now look forward to playing in the Conference."

We all wish Halifax and their supporters good luck and hope they can now concentrate on playing in the Conference next season.
