Kim Clijsters raced through her quarter-final match against Chanda Rubin claiming a straight sets win to set up a all Belgian semi-final.

Kim Clijsters who looks unstoppable at the moment with her excellent recent form raced to a straight-sets victory of Chanda Rubin, 7th seed 6-1, 6-2.
Clijsters the girlfriend of ATP World Number 1 Lleyton Hewitt now faces compatriot Justine Henin-Hardenne in the semi-final.

Justine Henin-Hardenne faced Amanda Coetzer in the other quarter-final. The match up strongly favoured the Belgian but Coetzer had other ideas and ran down every ball but it wasn't enough to claim her biggest win for a long time. The backhand of the Henin-Hardenne has gained a lot of power and her serve has changed a little also gaining more power. The 6-4, 6-4 win set her up with a all Belgian semi-final.
