Zuluaga wins third Bogota title

Defending Champion Fabiola Zuluaga beat Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-3, 6-2 to take the title for a third time following her successes in 1999 and 2002 at the Copa Colsanitas, Bogota

On the way to the final, Zuluaga beat top seed Paola Suarez and doubles partner in a thrilling three-set match, Zuluaga who was ranked 71 before the tournament will now climb back into the top 60 in the new rankings.

Medina Garrigues who beat 5 players ranked higher above her including Katarina Srebotnik couldn't continue her good form in this tournament and was pushed aside by the Colombian who claimed her first title in a year.
