SCHRUFF JOINS SERNA, RAZZANO & GAGLIARDI IN SEMI'S

German Qualifier Julia Schruff reached the semi-final's of the Estoril Open in Portugal after dispatching Ludmila Cervanova 7-5, 6-3

Schruff whose ranked 235th in the world beat top seeded Katarina Srebotnik in the last round and has now reached her first tournament semi-final.

Joining her is defending champion Magui Serna the number 2 seed who beat French youngster Stephanie Cohen-Aloro 6-3, 6-2. Emmanuelle Gagliardi and Virginie Razzano scored straight set victories respectively.
