Dokic lost at Strasbourg

Yugoslavian Jelena Dokic was ousted at the Strasbourg International Tennis tournament in her second round match by qualifier Karolina Sprem in three sets 7-5, 1-6 and 6-3. Last years finalist Dokic seems to be strugling and has a cold streak preparing for the French Open.

Second-seeded of Russia Anastasia Myskina beat Corina Morariu of the United States 6-3, 7-6 (4). Sixth-seeded Russian Vera Zvonareva almost hammered Tina Pisnik of Slovenia 6-0, 6-1.

The defending Champion Silvia Farina Elia from Italy is through to the next round after defeating Anca Barna from Germany 6-3, 7-5.

Emilie Loit from France took out two players today after completing her first round match against Elena Dementieva defeating the Russian
6-3, 2-6, 6-3 and she knocked off Switzerland's Maria-Gaianeh Mikaelian 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

American Ashley Harkleroad defeated Elena Likhovsteva when the Russian retired while being behind 6-3, 5-0.

Slovian Maja Matevzic will meet the upsetter Sprem after defeating American Laura Granville 6-3, 6-4.
