Martina Hingis, the former number one and recently retired tennisplayer, will be attending The Hilversum Open in The Netherlands on July 27th. The ‘Swiss Miss’ will take part in a tennis clinic and a pressconference for 16 year-old kids and younger.
The first
10 costumers who buy Adidas items at TennisPlanet for a minimum 150 Euros will
have the chance to participate in the free tennis clinic given by Martina
Hingis.
For the
kids up to 16 years there is the possibility to join in at the pressconverence
to ask Martina some questions. For those who want to sit in on the
pressconference will have to fill out there question on the TennisPlanet
website. The six funniest questions will be selected and the six kids will be
invited to ask Martina Hingis their question.
There is
also the meet and greet for signaturehunters and fans where you can have your picture
taken with Martina. To conclude the whole event Martina is going to hit some
balls into the stands, those who catch them will be able to collect an Adidas
giftcheque.

The Dutch
double champion and Roland Garros 2003 double finalist Paul Haarhuis will be
the host for the day and will welcome Martina Hingis on Centre Court at 10.15.
Martina Hingis’ tennis clinic will start at 10.30.
The
pressconference with Martina Hingis for the kids will be held at 12.45.
The
Hilversum Open is an International ATP Challenger Tournament. Tournament
Director Rene van den Berg is hoping to let the tournament grow into a real ATP
tournament. The Dutch players French Open finalist Martin Verkerk, John van
Lottum and Peter Wessels already confirmed to play around newyearsday.
