Serena and Justine Henin advances to Quarter-final for second straight year. She will want to advance to the Semi's with a possible meet with Jennifer again to gain revenge for last year. Henin could face Seles in the next round.
Second seed, Serena Williams has joined her elder sister, Venus, in the elite last 8 at Wimbledon, with a 6-3, 6-3 fourth round victory over American Chanda Rubin.
Serena picked up her game after her dismal performance against Els Callens on Friday.
Rubin had been on a winning streak on grass, having captured the Eastbourne title recently, but was no match for Williams today. Serena, controlling her awesome power to devastating effect, claimed the first set 6-3 in just over half an hour.
Williams will face Jelena Dokic or Daniela Hantuchova for a place in the last four.
Justine Henin beat Elena Dementieva 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5) to advance to the next round. Henin was 5-3 up in the first set and served out for the set but Dementieva came back to force a tie-break.
Henins will face the winner of Monica Seles and Tamarine Tanasugarn.
