Alvaston & Boulton 236-8 beat Chesterfield 230 by 6 runs

A&B batted first and relied on Anthony Woolley for their big score. He made 131, which included fourteen fours and three sixes. For Chesterfield Tim Kirk took 3-34 and Fran O’Neil 3-42. Chesterfield were dismissed with one ball to go for 230. Alan Gofton made 70 and Brad Ediriweera 66

Clifton 185 lost to Southwell 187-4 by 6 wickets

Clifton were bowled out with 3 balls to go. Kamran Afzaal made77 and Mohammed Masood 33. Vikram Sodhi took 3-47 and shared a stand of 126 with Ian Paling when Southwell went in to bat. Sodhi was 94 not out and Paling 33 not out. The innings was completed in 44.5 overs

Denby 178-2 beat Kimberley 174-8 by 8 wickets

Kimberley batted first. Top score was by Dean Thiesfield (46). For Denby Lee Atkin took 4-39. Denby hit off the runs in 36.1 overs, Steven Lee 40, Ian Parkin 89 not out , Stuart Poplar 31 not out.

Langley Mill 230-8 beat Notts Unity Casuals 229-8 by 2 wickets

For Notts U/C S Neal made 43 and A Afzaal 36. For Langley Mill Simon Lacey took 5-57, and Adrian Marsh scored 58. Andrew Ball hit the winning run off the very last ball of the match.

Ockbrook 212-8 lost to West Indian Cavaliers 213-4 by 6 wickets

Ockbrook lost four early wickets despite 30 from Nigel Sulley. James Cokayne (35) and Ian Darlington (46) recovered to add 100 in a fifth wicket stand.. The Cavaliers also lost four early wickets but Andy Haye (66 not out) and Carlos Remy (101 not out) soon took the initiative and coasted to their win in 40.3 overs.

Quarndon 132-2 beat Sawley LE Park 130 by 8 wickets

Sawley were dismissed in 43.4 overs, with Sean Polley top scorer with 40. Mark Tournier took 3-20 for Quarndon and they overtook the Sawley score in 31.5 overs, with Steve Hollis making 31 and Gary Myers 36 not out.

Sandiacre Town 280-9 beat Dunstall 177-8 by 103 runs

Sandiacre’s score included Chris Attwood (83), Simon Kinselle (44), Immy Ahmed (61), Naeem Akhtar (34). For Dunstall James Ede took 5-44. Phil Simmons was in the Dunstall side but he was out for 8. James Ede was their top scorer with 56, and for Sandiacre Irfan ul Haq took 3-11.

Welbeck Colliery 170 lost to Ilkeston Rutland 174-5 by 5 wickets

For Welbeck John Wakeling and Noel Gie both scored 50. For Ilkeston David Smit took 3-32 and Ian Banks 3-27, and when they batted Smit made 56
