Nottinghamshire ring changes for Glamorgan clash

Nottinghamshire will make a host of changes to the side that drew with West Indies for the Frizzell County Championship game against Glamorgan. Only Guy Welton and Kevin Pietersen keep their places, with captain Jason Gallian returning to captain the side.

Seamers Paul Franks, Richard Logan, Greg Smith, Andy Harris and David Lucas are named in the 12-man squad, although there is unlikely to be room for all of them on the team-sheet.

Nottinghamshire have lost three of their last four championship matches, although they have been out of action for almost a fortnight.

Glamorgan will be without captain Steve James, who is struggling with a calf strain. He is replaced by Ian Thomas, leaving Robert Croft to assume leadership duties. Adrian Dale's all-round capabilities have been preferred to Dean Cosker's left-arm spin.
