Last lap drama ends in a sweet result for Pedro

The race started with rain, all the drivers were struggling to keep their cars on the track. With changing weather conditions made it possible for the cars to run on dry tyres, although in the final few laps the sky opened to let rain on the track leaving Michael Schumacher supreme.

This race was absolutely brilliant with seven times world champion reining victorious, Former world championship leader Fernando Alonso but up a courageous fight for second place as a slow pit stop left him down the feild.

Kimi Raikkonen Started the race in 5th after a good quallifing session, after the first corner he ended up in fourth behind Britains Jenson Button. However after the first few laps the flying fin made easy work of the Hungarian Grand prix race winner to take third place.

It all ended in disaster for Raikkonen after just 18 laps when he pulled his Mclaren MP4-21 into the support pitlane to retire for the 6th time this year the causes of his retirement was caused by a throttle problem, although it is likely to be a gearbox problem.

Spains Pedro De la rosa had a great race after starting in a lowly 7th place, he didn't really have the pace to catch up to the likes of fellow country man Alonso and Germanys 7 times world champion, but he did finish in 5th place after a last lap incident involving Hondas Rubens Barrichello and Bmw Saubers Nick Heidfeld. Pedro Stayed out of harms way to collect some much deserved world championship points.
