Bruno Senna's Views on Michael

Ayrton Senna's nephew Bruno Senna yesterday told F1 reporters he was hopeful he will be in F1 by 2009, as well as saying had Ayrton Senna had not fatally crashed at Imola, Michael would have two titles less to his name.

"If my uncle didn't crash I think Michael would have one or two titles less behind his name.

Michael has not been always racing at the limit. It would have been different if Ayrton was there to challenge him I think. Ayrton was always racing at the limit but Schumacher won races by a good team strategy."


The 23-year-old nephew of the sport's late triple world champion - Ayrton Senna - told reporters gathered at the Hockenheim circuit on Sunday that he will almost certainly race in the GP2 series next year.

Probably referring to Gerhard Berger, co-owner of the Toro Rosso team but also his uncle's former McLaren team-mate, Senna said: "I already have some contacts in Formula One.

"Depending on how I go (in GP2), I want to be in F1 within two years," Senna told Bild newspaper, before crashing whilst guesting in the Porsche Carrera race at the DTM event.
