Day 2: Alonso Fastest

The double world champion Fernando Alonso finished first again on the second day of testing finishing two tenths of a second faster than ex team-mate Giancarlo Fisichella. Fernando completed eighty six laps today.

Today there weren’t many technical problems, Fernando stayed clear of any technical problems although the other runners on the track did encounter problems. Word from Pedro De La Rosa is that when Lewis Hamilton crashed it hampered Mclarens testing program.
