The Spaniard set the fastest time on the first day of testing by one thousandth of a second. Pedro was running alongside fellow countryman Fernando Alonso who finished the day 3rd, both completing a total of 132 laps.
All the teams traveled to the circuit to test their new cars yet again in front the upcoming season. Scudera Torro Rosso will test their new car tomorrow. Pedro and Alonso are reported to have no problems at all, although Alonso's car did stop on the track, the problem of which hasn't been identified yet. The times from today are listed below.
