Alonso To Miss Sepang Test

Not to worry though... its not because of any injury, Alonso is instead travelling to the McLaren Technology Center (MTC) In woking and he is to do some work on a race simulator instead of traveling half the globe to Sepang.

With Fernando out of the running, the tests work is due to take place with Britains Lewis Hamilton and Spains Pedro De La Rosa, to do the teams work, where the McLaren squad will be looking to find some new pace to crush Ferrari in the scorching heat.

The next test is schedueled to run for three days, with only two drivers -one of them a race driver- to get a good setup for the Malasyian Grand Prix in three weeks time.

This test will be a useful learning expreience for Lewis, it will be a good starting point to prepare him for the unbelivable heat that the Sepang Internatinal Circuit gives to the drivers, with the temperatures reguarly reaching 40 degrees celcius
