Fernando Alonso’s problems continued into the qualifying session, as his car suffered from, what we think was an engine problem, the Spaniard spent three minutes at the end of the pit lane on the third part of qually, which could of contributed to his problems. Nevertheless, Fernando will start the race a disappointing 10th, while team mate Hamilton will line up on the front row.

The qualifying session was as interesting as ever, and as the teams have made some gains in car performance, the gap between the mid field runners was smaller than ever, as the action in the second part of the session never stopped.

The same can be said for the third part, as the session ended, cars were turning the timing tables every second, leaving the audience thrilled with the extreme action.
