Practice 2: Behind The Dominant Ferraris.

As Hamilton impressed his adoring home crowd in the first session, he was unable to repeat his performance in the second session. As French Grand Prix winner Kimi Räikkönen was fastest in the second session, followed by team mate Felipe Massa who finished the session half a second behind. Ralf Schumacher finished the session 3rd, sharing his best time with Lewis Hamilton who ended the session 4th.

Fernando Alonso was having a harder time down in 6th, as his best time in the second 90 minute session was almost a full second behind the pace setting time of Kimi Räikkönen.

Toyota are looking strong this weekend with Ralf Schumacher finishing 3rd, and Jarno Trulli finishing 5th in the second Toyota. With Fernando Alonso chasing both Toyota’s. McLaren surely must have more pace, so don’t write the team off yet.

Nico Rosberg finished 7th, with his team mate Alexander Wurz just behind Nico in 8th. Mark Webber ended the session 9th with Anthony Davidson finishing a promising 10th.
