Mosley A Bad Example- Lewis

Current championship leader Lewis Hamilton has sided with the four manufacturers that have made complaints against Max Mosley, following the FIA presidents actions last Sunday. Hamilton is recorded to have said to the press that Max is a bad role model for younger fans who watch the sport, while many other people in the formula one paddock have called for Mosley's resignation.

It all started on Sunday, when the News of the World published a story on what Max Mosley does in his personal life, outside F1. According to a video posted on their website, it shows the FIA president with five prostitutes having a Nazi styled orgy.

Lewis, like many of the people involved in formula one, have denounced Mosley's actions, Lewis in particular stating that he is setting a bad example to younger fans of the sport.

"I totally agree with what they were saying," Hamilton is quoted as saying in Bahrain by The Sun. "The key is to set a good example. We all, especially the young people, we're always looking up to at least someone to show us the way.

"Setting a good example is the best way of saying it."

Former team owners Jackie Stewart and Paul Stoddart have requested the resignation of the current FIA President, saying his actions are embarrassing to Formula One and Motor sport as a whole.

Max also planned a visit to this weekends Bahrain Grand Prix but he has been warned off by the local Royal Family.

In addition, Mosley has called an Extraordinary General Assembly, in which all FIA members have been invited. What does this mean for Max?

Well, as much as some people would like it, it remains unlikely that Max will step down as FIA President any time soon, though one thing remains, if the whole of F1 condemns, Mosley's actions then he might resign for the good of Motor sport as a whole.
