Lewis Hamilton's father, Anthony Hamilton, is reported to have crashed a borrowed £300,000 Porsche Carrera GT just a few hundred meters from his home in Hertfordshire. The 47 year old Britain is unharmed and according to the British Newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, he crashed the 200mph+ super car into a childrens' playground.

You'd expect it to be Lewis Hamilton, rather than Anthony Hamilton to have crashed an expensive hyper-car on a country road, due to his race-driver style driving habits. Though, this isn't the case. Hamilton Sr is reported to have crashed into a childrens' playground, causing considerable damaged to the car and to the bush and fence that he hit.

An eyewitness at the scene is quoted to have seen "He started revving the car really hard and wheel-spined off. He had the roof down and looked at me before he put his foot down. He roared off and 50 yards down the road lost it on the corner."

Anthony Hamilton had this to say on the accident. "This is my first crash in almost 30 years and it had to happen in someone else's car, Thankfully the only thing hurt was the car, and a bush fence - for which I am extremely sorry."

The crash details don't seem inkeeping to what Anthony Hamilton is portrayed to be in the eyes of the media, is this a new side to Lewis's father, or did he just lose control of the car, on a puddle or mud?
