McLaren finish ahead of Ferrari.

It was a flawless race for Kimi. DC seemed to struggle all day long, never really being able to make a move to advance his possition.

With once again a somewhat eventful start to the race, after things settled down, it was pretty much the tyical Monaco GP with the follow the leader parade around the circuit. With the front runners pitting before Schumi in the Ferrari, it looked as if Ferrari were on a one stop strategy. This proved to be false however, as Mike and Rubens both 2 stopped the race. Bridgestone seemed to struggle badly the entire weekend.

Mike Schumacher may have also been the victim of a very bad set of tires, as he was 1.5 seconds off the pace during his 2nd stint. When the lap comparison was put up at one point, Kimi ran 3 consecutive laps just at 2 seconds per lap faster than Mike.

It seemed to get sorted out after the 2nd and final stop for Schumacher, as he closed down a 15 second gap to just over a second by race end. To little to late for Ferrari, but a bold charge none the less. Rubens and DC just couldn't get it in gear the whole race. Both drivers just seemed to be unable to do much of anything.

Renault put in a strong performance bringing home 5th and 6th place. What happened to Ralph Schumacher is anyones guess, as he started on pole and found a way to lose 4 possitions.
