Jean Alesi may test for McLaren again.

The recent driver rumours that have been circulating lately suggest that Alex may be going to Jaguar. That, and the fact that Kimi's surgery will see him sit out the first test makes one wonder who will be there.

Jean Alesi is an option, as he has tested for McLaren two times in the past. Alesi, who has vast experience in F1, would be a valuable asset I think.

When asked about whether or not he would make a return to F1, Alesi said:

"I won't come back in F1 one way or the other but it is obvious that if McLaren ask me to do more F1 tests like it happened twice in the past, I will not say no and I would be very happy to do it,"

"The relationship with Ron Dennis is very good, simple and easy,"

This to me is good news. Personally, I think I'd rather have Alesi at the wheel of the MP4-19 than either Pedro or Alex.

We'll have to wait and see what happens.
