de la Rosa: McLaren Confident Again

Pedro de la Rosa reckons the Mercedes engine problems are sorted at McLaren which has helped motivate the whole team. Pedro is now confident for the championship, if not so much for Bahrain.

He told Spanish newspaper 'Marca' "The engine has improved a lot and this clearly changed the atmosphere in the team. Everyone is extremely motivated again."

He went on to tell how he is not sure that the team can race for victory in the season-opener at Bahrain, but he is confident McLaren an fight for the championship.

He pointed out that McLaren were behind at the beginning of 2005, however by the third race they were quick enough to win races.
