Heikki Kovalainen rounded off Renault's winter testing with an impressive lap at Valencia today - a 1m10.438. The Finn, who caused the first red flag of the day when his R26 stopped at the pit exit, was followed closely by Honda's Anthony Davidson.
Three tenths short of the leading-two's dominating pace were the McLaren's of Kimi Raikkonen and Pedro de la Rosa respectively.
Raikkonen had a hydraulics problem in the morning which kept him garage -boaund, but the Finn managed to complete 72 laps when he hit the track in the afternoon. Test driver Pedro de la Rosa, who was running in a hybrid version of last year's MP4-21 was working on tyre selection for the Australian Grand Prix.
The two Williams' were off the pace today, occupying the last two spaces on the time sheet, with Rosberg getting the upper hand on his experienced team mate Mark Webber. The pair were the only people in action outside the 1m10 mark.
