Alonso has no regrets about McLaren

Despite Fernando Alonso and his current team, Renault, leading both Formula 1 championships, the young Spaniard says that he is not starting to worry about his decision of signing for McLaren in 2007, only months after he won his 2005 WDC with Renault.

''I am convinced that in 2007 I will have the best car in F1,'' he told fans at a press conference in Madrid, with doubters realising that McLaren are 24 points behind Renault in the Constructors'.

Fernando will go into his home GP 13 points clear of his nearest rival, Michael Schumacher.
