Town Appoint New Manager

Today at an exclusive press conference Huddersfield Town announced their new manager.

Huddersfield have appointed Mick Wadsworth as their new manager!

Wadsworth, sacked as Oldham boss in May, takes over from Lou Macari.

Town director Paul Haigh told the club's official website: "The chairman and three directors are in complete agreement over the choice of the new manager.

"We have spent considerable time discussing the appointment and doing our homework and we are confident we have chosen the right person for the job.

"The board and the new manager share the same progressive ideas about Huddersfield Town's future.

"We expect the assistants to the new manager to be announced in the near future."
