Town have just signed giant keeper Scott Bevan from Southampton in a season-long loan deal.

Mick Wadsworth has signed another player, again from Southampton. This time it's third-choice keeper Scott Bevan, who is supposed to be a giant.

The terriers have Bevan on a season-long loan and he will replace former keeper martyn Margetson after to he failed to agree a contract.

Wadsworth said: "He's a big lad and an excellent goalkeeper.

"With Paul Jones and Neil Moss keeping him out of the Southampton side, a spell at Huddersfield will be very good for Scott's development and the development of Huddersfield Town.

"I feel his appointment will be terrific for Town. He's young and was very eager to come here," Wadsworth told the club's website.

Bevan had a short spell on loan last season to conference side Woking. He gets the name giant from being 6 foot 6!

He is town's second signing under Wadsworth and follows Scott MacDonald from Southampton where Mick was previously head coach.
