Ex striker Neil Grayson nets 1st goal for F.Green

A player that is and always will be a Cheltenham Town legend scored his 1st goals for his new club after being released by the Robins at the end of the last season.

37 year old Neil Grayson opened his account for Forest Green Rovers in the 16th minute of the 3-1 home defeat to conference and local rivals Hereford United. Gavin Williams was one of the scorers for Hereford and is a player who I wouldn't mind at Cheltenham.

Neil made over 150 appearances for Town, scoring 61 goals and played his last match for us in the 3-1 win over Rushden & Diamonds in the play off win in Cardiff, Millenium Stadium.

A player who will always give 100% effort will be sadly missed at Cheltenham and we are sure he will score many more goals in his time at the Lawn. He has signed a 2 year player coach deal with Rovers.
