Bobby Gould has revealed the name of the ex-Welsh under-21 player he has taken on trial as former Leeds midfielder Kevin Evans. He has previously played under the new Robins gaffer at Cardiff and for the Welsh under-21 side.

Gould signed the 22 year old from the Elland Road club during Cardiff Citys promotion season from Division 3, where he scored 3 goals in 30 games before being loaned out to Boston United last season, where he helped them to promotion from the Nationwide Conference.

Currently on the books of Dr Martens League side Merthyr Tydfil, Evans is hoping to get back into league football and will train with The Robins first team on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

He is not permitted by FIFA to play any reserve games for the club as he is still contracted to Merthyr Tydfil and would require a permanent transfer to Whaddon Road before making an appearance for the club, we wish Kevin the best during his trial.
